FIRST PRACTICE
Thursday, May 28, 2026
Practice 5:15-6:15pm or 6:15-7:15pm (pick one, no registration required)
Ice Cream Coaches Meet and Greet at 6:30pm near the snack bar
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
May 29 - June 16, Monday- Friday, Afternoon Practices:
Divers can pick one 1-hour session to attend:
5:15-6:15 pm or 6:15-7:15 pm
Note for new divers: New divers expressing an interest in the team are welcome to come try out the boards and get to know the team before registering for the season. You may attend 3 consecutive days of practice without registering. After that 3rd day, registration will be required to continue on. Please see a team rep to sign a waiver - a coach can direct you.
*No practice on Wednesday, June 17 (last day of FCPS).
June 18- July 22 Monday- Friday, Morning Practices:
9:00am-10:00am 13 yrs+
10:00am-11:00am 10-12 yrs
11:00am-12:00pm 9 and under
Afternoon Practice - Mondays Only:
3:00-4:30pm
We know that our divers are often also members of the swim team, attend camps, etc. For that reason, we are flexible regarding which practice you attend if you cannot attend the assigned time. You do not need to let us know which practice you will be coming to - just show up!
Wednesday, July 22nd
Final Wednesday FUN DAY for all team members from 9am-10am
July 22–July 24 (Divisional divers only)
Divisional Divers 10 am -11 am
Practice Times for All Star Divers will be determined after Divisionals.
LEARN A NEW DIVE NIGHT-All ages and levels
Wednesdays All Divers 5:00-6:30 pm (Potluck to follow)
In case of inclement weather:
Practices will not be canceled due to inclement weather unless conditions require closing of the pool. Dry land practices may be held if the water and/or air temperature is too cool to permit a regular practice. If you are unsure if the pool is open due to weather, please call the front desk, 703-938-0858.
The coaches will also update everyone on Slack if there is a status change for practice and meets due to inclement weather.
