Coaches
Brenda is our superstar head coach. Brenda’s love for diving began at age 9, when she started with the Woodley Rec NVSL Summer Team. At Falls Church High School, she was National District Diving Champion during her junior and senior years.
After her successful diving career, she moved onto coaching at local high schools in 2010, where she has been fortunate enough to coach Six VA 6A State Champions and 14 NISCA All American Divers (including the 2016 NISCA All-American Champion and Washington All-Met Diver of the Year). In addition to being the head coach of the Cardinal Hill Dive Team, Brenda also has coached at Dominion Dive Club since 2014. She is also head coach at Madison High School. Brenda is both AAU and USA Dive Certified and has worked with, and learned from, some of the most elite coaches and divers in the nation.
Her focus at the summer level (as the NVSL is a developmental league) is teaching about the sport of diving and how to be safe around water. Most of all, Brenda ensures that Cardinal Hill divers have an amazing summer FILLED with fun and memories to last a lifetime.
Allie returns for her fourth year as an assistant coach at Cardinal Hill, after spending many years on the dive team learning under Coach Brenda. Allie currently dives for Farfield University, an NCAA Division I swim and dive program in Connecticut. Allie leverages her many years of diving and competitive gymnastics to improve the skills of our athletes.
Jackson is a longtime dive team member. Jackson also dives for Marshall High School.
Dani is a longtime dive team member. Dani is on the Marshall High School dive team.
Nate is a longtime dive team member. Nate dives for the Dominion Dive Club and is on the Madison High School dive team.
