Hi Dive Families, 

The weather has finally caught up to dive season! With temps rising, we should see less shivering on the pool deck. This will be our last full week of evening practices. Starting next Thursday, or summer schedule will begin!

Practices This Week:

• Evening practice as usual all week Monday-Friday. 
  • Please attend either the 5:15-6:15 or the 6:15-7:15 practice.  

Practices Next Week:

• Monday, 6/15, 4:00-5:30 Practice for All Divers due to a home swim meet. Please plan to attend any portion of that practice that works for your schedule. 
• Tuesday, 6/16, Usual Evening Practice Times (5:15 and 6:15 practice) 
• Wednesday, 6/17, NO PRACTICE due to FCPS last day of school
• Thursday, 6/18 & Friday, 6/19 Morning Practices Begin!
  • 9:00-10:00 13 yrs and older
  • 10:00-11:00 10-12 yrs old
  • 11:00-12:00 9 yrs and under

First Meet of the Season and YOU'RE INVITED! 

Please join us for our Boys vs Girls Rookie Volunteer Meet & Judging Clinic on Thursday, 6/18!

• Schedule for the Meet:
  • 5:00-6:00 All divers warm up
  • 6:00-6:30 Judging Mini-clinic on the pool deck
  • 6:30-8ish Boys vs Girls Meet (including Rookie Volunteers)
• There will be CH Dive swag for any and all volunteers at this special event! 
• An annual favorite! The Boys take on the Girls in our first B Meet of the season.
• • All divers, new and experienced, can access this meet!
  • Each diver will compete with 2 dives - one front entry and one optional. 
  • The coaches will help your diver determine his/her dives. 
  • The kids love it, and the adults have a blast, too!
• Attention Rookie Volunteers (also Rusty Volunteers & Veteran Volunteers): 
  • This meet is for YOU! It's a great opportunity to try out a new volunteer position with NO pressure! 
  • We will have veteran volunteers in each position to show you the ropes.

• Judging Mini-Clinic Please join us if...
  • You are a new parent and want to understand how your diver will be judged.
  • You are curious about volunteering to judge this season. 
  • Our very own veteran judges Allen Brabender and Karl Rothman will lead the 30 minute clinic to give you the basics.

Volunteer Positions for the season are OPEN! 

• Please sign up for a minimum of 3 volunteer slots.
