Hi Dive Families, 

It has been wonderful to see so many divers on the boards this week! Thankfully, the weather is warming up and I've seen lots of smiles and a bit less shivering! 

Next week is a little wonky with the end of the school year, the start of summer practices, and our first meet, so please take note of the schedule changes and information below. I will go day-by-day so it doesn't get confusing. 

Monday (June 10) Practice Time Change - 4:00-5:30 All Divers 

The swim team will host its first B meet on Monday night. We will move to one practice from 4:00-5:30 to accommodate the swim meet start time of 6:00pm. Please come whenever you are able during that window (and feel free to attend for the full practice if your schedule allows). Just a note that parents may need to stay under the cabana or in the grassy area, as the swim team will be preparing for the meet on the pool deck and swimmers will be warming up in the lanes during our last half hour of practice. 

Tuesday (June 11) Normal Evening Practice Schedule

• 5:15-6:15
• 6:15-7:15

Wednesday (June 12) Last Day of FCPS - NO PRACTICE

Thursday (June 13): 

• Morning Practice Begins
  • 9:00-10:00    14 yrs and older
  • 10:00-11:00  10-13 yrs old
  • 11:00-12:00    9 and under

• Boys vs Girls Meet
  • An annual favorite! The Boys take on the Girls in our first B Meet of the season. All divers are welcome and encouraged to participate. It's a great opportunity to ease into meets for both our divers and our parent volunteers. 
  • Warm-ups are from 4:30-5:30pm
  • Meet will begin at 6:00pm
  • If you are a parent volunteer, we will reach out to you early next week with specific start times, but please refer to the Dive Meet schedule where you signed up for jobs to get an idea of reporting time.  

Friday (June 14) - Normal Morning Practice 

• 9:00-10:00 14 yrs and older
• 10:00-11:00 10-13 yrs old
• 11:00-12:00 9 and under

Reminder about Judging Clinics:

There are two judging clinics coming up! If you are at all interested in judging, these are very helpful with live divers and real-time scoring practice. 

• Tuesday, 6/11 6:30pm at Chesterbrook
• Wednesday, 6/19 6:30pm at Sleepy Hollow Bath
