Hi CH Dive Team,

The season is almost upon us, and we can't wait to see you next week! A few notes as we get rolling on the season: 

1. Our first practice is on Wednesday, 5/30. 

*Reminder that we will run two practices until the last day of FCPS. During that time, practices run from 5:15-6:15 and 6:15-7:15

*Choose whichever practice fits your schedule. Also, we understand that kids are wrapping up other sport seasons and have end of school year commitments, so don't worry if you can't make practice. No need to let us know. Just come when you can!

2. Our annual Ice Cream Social and Coaches Meeting will be on Monday, 6/3 at 6:00 in the cabana. All family members are welcome to enjoy a sweet treat while the coaches share more information about the season. Please RSVP on the signup genius below so that we know how much ice cream to purchase:

3. Reminder that Team Suits are available for purchase from Metro Swim. The suits are the same suits that swim team will also wear. If you do not choose to purchase a team suit, any black and/or red bathing suit will suffice.

4. Finally, a thank you to all who have volunteered to help with this season, and a big shout out to those who are bravely trying judging for the first time. Many of you are new to dive, and there's no better way to learn about the sport (and get the best front row seat). Remember the lowest and highest score get dropped, so if you're worried that you might impact a diver negatively, you won't! If you're on the fence about jumping in, feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
