Dive Team Reminders
Good morning,
We hope everyone had a great first week of dive practice. It was so nice to see so many smiling faces. A few reminders heading into next week:
1. Our team meeting and ice cream social will be this Monday, June 4, after the 5:30-6:30 practice. Our coaches will be explaining how practices and meets work and Kate and I will cover information about volunteering. Ice cream for the whole family will follow the brief meeting. If you plan to attend, please RSVP on this sign up genius as our volunteer will be purchasing ice cream and toppings soon.

2. A reminder that tomorrow, Sunday, June 3rd, there will be an NVSL hosted judging clinic at Mantua pool at 10:30am. (9330 Pentland Place, Fairfax, VA 22031). This will be a great introduction to judging a dive meet. We've heard from a lot of you that you plan to attend with us, and we are so grateful! This is open to any parent and no pre-registration is required.
3. This summer, we are going to try a new method of communication through the Slack App. Our head coach, Brenda, uses this app in her position as a coach for Dominion Dive and feels that it would work well for us this summer as well. 4. A reminder that until June 15, practice will be from either 4:30pm-5:30pm or 5:30pm-6:30pm. We have almost 80 divers on the team this summer (yay!), so right now our practices are a little cramped until we get to morning practices. However, if you have the flexibility, the 5:30-6:30 practice is WAY less crowded, so consider that if you can.
