Hello Dive Families,

A heads up that I will be out of town all next week, so please read this email carefully and save it to refer back to because I won’t be sending out any reminders, etc. next week.

Most importantly for next week is that we still need volunteers for both the A meet on Tuesday at Arlington Forest and the B meet on Thursday at Sleepy Hollow Bath and Racquet. A lot of families are out of town, so if you are here and able to volunteer, please sign up. If you sign up and for whatever reason have to cancel, please find your own replacement. Both meets will start at 6pm. Divers will need to report at 5:00 for warm-ups and volunteers will need to be there by 5:30. Addresses for the pools here:

Sleepy Hollow Bath and Racquet: 3616 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Falls Church, VA 22042

Please note that there are two pools called Sleepy Hollow right next to each other, so make sure you are at Sleepy Hollow BATH AND RACQUET at the address above.

For anyone who has not collected their dive t-shirts yet, they are stored at the pool. If you need one, please ask one of the coaches at practice and they can grab it for you and cross you off the list.

There will be a Dinner and Dive again next Wednesday and I will send a separate email with the sign up genius for that. Remember that the diving portion is from 5-6:30 and then dinner follows at 6:30.

Finally, we are still in urgent need of help with social. Kate has transitioned to the meet manager role and we therefore need social volunteers to take over her duties for the short remainder of the season. To make it easier, we’ve split up the jobs into four separate roles. The great thing about these jobs is that they are flexible and just involve making sure that the volunteers signed up know what to bring/buy, what time to show up, etc. Kate can answer any questions ([email protected]). If we don’t get anyone to help with these roles, then we will have to eliminate the fun social stuff and that would be a big disappointment.
