4^th of July weekend got the best of me, and this is going out late (so sorry!). Week #6 of Dive Team started this morning. Here’s the scoop on the rest of the week’s activities:

Tuesday A Meet at Fairfax Station (AWAY): We are off to Fairfax Station tomorrow for our 3^rd A Meet. Address is 6203 Old Arrington Lane, Fairfax Station. Warms-ups at 5pm. Volunteers at 5:30pm. Meet start at 6pm. *We still need one more judge! Pool will be open for quiet swim during the meet for siblings. If you pre-ordered food, it will be ready for pickup. If you didn’t pre-order food, bring your own.

Wednesday Night Dinner & Dive: Learn a New Dive will be from 5pm-6:30pm, followed by our team potluck in the cabana. This week we will be ordering pizza from Chick-Fil-A. I will be working the Swim Team Divisional Relay event and won’t be at the Dive Dinner & it’s our Social Chair Kate Beck’s birthday Wednesday, so we really need a few families to jump in to run this event. Thanks!!

JUST ADDED-- Thursday B Meet vs Hamlet: I was just able to lock this down this afternoon, after several cancellations. Our third and final B Meet of the season will be this Thursday. Warm-ups at 4pm. Nachos at 5pm. Volunteers at 5:30pm (except Nachos and Sound). Meet start at 6pm. We are going to need to step it up with volunteers quickly on this one. All hands on deck! Please sign-up to help out.

Team T-Shirts Are IN: If you have not yet picked up your team t-shirt, please ask the coaches before or after practice. If you joined the team after the June 4^th deadline, you may now ask if there are extra shirts that might fit your diver.

Cracker Jack Developmental Championship Meet: The Cracker Jack Meet is the largest Developmental Dive Meet in the country! New and beginning divers from all 8 NVSL-Dive Divisions will compete by age. The top 6 finishers in each category will win a medal, ribbons for 7th place and above, and everyone gets a box of Cracker Jacks at the end (Boys 6& Under, Girls 6&Under, Boys 7, Girls 7, Boys 8, Girls 8, etc). If your child is interested in participating the Cracker Jack Dive Meet, please speak to one of the coaches ASAP. Registrations are due Monday, July 12^th!
