Dear Dive Team Families,

Registration for the 2020 dive season will open this Monday, June 8th and will close at midnight on Friday, June 12th. You have just ONE WEEK to register. No late registrations will be accepted!! We need an accurate team headcount so that we can determine the number of practices each diver will be permitted to sign up for each week.

VERY IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS: Please be advised that coaches must maintain 10 feet of distance from divers and coaches WILL NOT be able to offer hands on spotting this season. Parents WILL NOT be permitted to watch practice from the pool deck/inside the club grounds- divers will need to enter the facility on their own to attend practices. Divers will be expected to follow all pool rules, including new social distancing rules. If your child is uncomfortable or unable to follow these guidelines, we suggest you DO NOT sign them up to participate in dive team this season. 

We are hopeful we will be able to begin practices the week of June 15th and that divers will be able to attend a minimum of 3 practices per week. There will be 4 practice times offered Monday-Saturday. Times are as follows:

8:00-8:45am

9:00-9:45am

10:00-10:45am

11:00-11:45am

Practice times will not be assigned, instead divers will be able to sign-up for their preferred dive slots each week. We are using this system to give families maximum flexibility in scheduling and to avoid having unfilled practice spots. Complete details on signing up for practice times will be sent out once registration closes.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to have our normal dive team meets, social events, and activities. We are brainstorming ways to make the dive season fun for our divers while adhering to social distancing requirements. On the plus side, there is NO FEE to join the team this season. There are also no volunteer requirements this season. We do hope you will consider volunteering to help out if we are able to organize some events later in the season!
